Description of castle from the artist perspective

Rinn Chùil Uisce Castle, called Rincolisky, is Irish for ‘the end of the headland”. Built remotely away on the cliffs beside Roaring Water Bay, it serves as the perfect place for inspiration. Watching the sunset on the stone terrace high up on the top of the castle overlooking the islands captures the mood (atmosphere) of a romantic painting by Caspar David Friedrich. During a starry clear and calm night, one steps barefoot out on the terrace to watch the reflection of the moon on the bay. But if a gael is romping and the glass windows are bending, it is recommended to walk down a floor and sleep on the first mezzanine. The thick walls of the castle do not permit any noise resounding.
The intensity of the colours, the contrast between the deep green fields and the blue sea lifts the mood of every city dweller. The infinite horizon of the sky, even when it is grey, enhances the imagination thus opening space for ideas. The owner Zizi Rincolisky has created five films, two performances, one script, numerous poems and ten installations while living and working in the castle.

la mer-la mère
La mer - la mère - das Meer - meer - mehr - more - encoreJacques Lacan : "Encore", Seminar XX on Feminine jouissance.
Performance at Warren Beach Rosscarbery, West Cork, Irleland, 2007 and 2008, West Cork Art Center, Summer exhibition
Drawn by wild confusion
I went down to the shore
Playing the desire of the mother
And its infinite horizon
The pain’s sweet wound subsides
In the tide
Without logic or meaning
And brings a halt to the ripening seed
The circle of life’s unfolding
Embryo, birth and looking glass
Reveals the drama of desire
Which in its melancholy
Is left unsatisfied
The other voice which
shapes the sense of you
My dearest. (pause)In my watery reflections, I decipher
Mingled,Love and hate
Beyond the sea of discontent
Discerning the abyss
Between my ideal self and I
I face the source
of all destructive power

FATA ORGANA
How foam is created when stirring! What stirring! What a stir! It is creamy, almost like milk. I hold on to my own knees, the landscape distorted into lines. Stop, stop, stop.
That's too fast and too much. Let me stop, hold on, stop. And then we'll stop and pause.
One more time. And when? Short gesture, played quickly. But valuable. Foam again.
Everything must be in motion, otherwise there would be no foam. Okay. Constant stirring. No air can be whipped into the liquid without turbulence. Okay, it has to be. But sometimes I like the water to be calm and you can see the seals. They watch you, watch us, as we flounder around and whip up foam, or drink foam. Hmm, fine on the lips. Like milk. Foam on the bow of the fishing boat. Shrouded in yellow.
Suddenly all ears are directed towards the voice. And it is not easy to create a condensate out of foam, but it is possible! The walls are impenetrable. Occasionally the actor sits on the other side of the bay in the castle. What is he doing there?
But we certainly drink more of the malt beverage with foam than he does, and the tower with its impenetrable stone walls still becomes a percussion body.

My stay at Rincolisky Castle was a truly inspiring experience as a violinist. The 500-year-old castle provided a unique setting, surrounded by stunning Irish landscapes of sea and green fields. Each day, I practiced by the tall windows, using the sounds of nature as a backdrop for my music. The tranquil environment helped me focus and explore new techniques, making my time there a valuable chapter in my musical journey.Rincolisky Castle was a perfect blend of history and inspiration, fueling my passion for the violin.
